Poisson in Köln, well that was a score! This city has sooo many options to chose from, its hard to decide. Especially when you are there just for 2 nights. So for lunch we opted for a meal at Poisson. Smack bang in the middle of Köln, near all the shops, with covered parking next door. We started with an apero, which came with a tasty treat from the open kitchen. On to chose wine (how can any meal go wrong with a Meursault) and some very fresh oysters to go with it. The food was absolutely delicious! We had the 4 course surprise menu with a bottle of wine and a bottle of water. Never had such fantastic fish. The service was great too. The value for the money was great. The only thing we did not like were the high tables an chairs. Next time, I will book the nice tables by the window. We also thought that two glasses of Prosecco for 38 Euros were over the top.
