I came here excited to finally try a proper Berliner Currywurst 🌭😄 Unfortunately, the ketchup-to-sausage ratio was so generous that I’m still not entirely sure what the actual Currywurst tasted like 😂 I mean… points for generosity, truly. Nobody can accuse them of being stingy with the sauce. That being said, the guy taking the orders was super friendly and chill, which honestly made the whole experience more fun anyway.

We tried the plate with sausage and potatoes. It wasn’t extraordinary, but it was enjoyable to try. There was no place to sit, so we ate standing up and continued our walk. If you don’t like curry sauce, you might not enjoy it. A nice appetizer.

I didn’t expect to love currywurst this much, but I ended up coming here three times during our five days in Berlin. The line can look intimidating, yet it moves quickly, and the staff are always friendly. They even accept credit cards for a single sausage, which is surprisingly convenient. There’s also a long indoor standing table, perfect for warming up while you eat on colder days.
