Food and drink: The apple streussel cake i had was decent in taste. It came to me on a hot plate but the cake itself seemed straight out of the fridge. It was cold. The orange juice I ordered was advertised as fresh but it didn't taste so. Service: When I came in I greeted with a smile and proceeded to order and point at the cake. They continued to speak to me in German despite obviously knowing I didn't speak the language 'til the lady said "take away or eat here" after I said "Sorry I don't speak German". She was a bit stern and I got a bit embarrassed sitting down. She seemed angry even wh

Bad to terrible food, waitress pretended to speak 3 languages when she couldn't. I tried to speak a sentence or Portuguese but every waitress was french. Pastries quality not really their strength, Sandwiches poorly prepared and orange juice mixed with Fanta.

We wanted a light lunch after a walking tour of Hamburg and our guide recommended this place. It's on a street with LOTS of options of places to eat so if you swing by and it doesn't look like it's for you, you undoubtedly will find a place on the same street that is. We don't speak any German and their English was very limited so it took a bit longer for us to get situated and order. We did the best we could and thanks to the Google Translate app we got what we wanted. (And the staff their was super accommodating as we tried to navigate German!) There is a lot to choose from for vegetarians
