One of, if not the best sushi place we know. The food is *perfect* every time we go to eat here, whether it is takeaway or dining in. Highly recommend the crunchy sake maki, best sushi we've ever had. The nigiris are also huge, they don't hold back on the ingredients for sure.

If you think it's a small town in Germany, then it's good. But if you look for quality then some improvements would be good. Miso soup was nice though miso taste could be stronger. Tuna nigiri were a big disappoinment as they were very dry. No deliciousness of bitting through the fish meat just more of a dry flat sheet. Temaki roll tasted good though the size is huge. Don't know if this is a bonus or a minus. Could also benefit from more firm roll. Overall good meal but not special

Delicious sushi and wonderful service! We visited Mr. Wasabi in Recklinghausen and were really impressed! The sushi mix was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned for two people – a great choice if you want to try a bit of everything. The staff were incredibly friendly, always smiling and making us feel very welcome from the moment we walked in. A cozy spot with great vibes – we’ll definitely be coming back!
