They have some of the best food in the region! What a warm, relaxing place to eat, a hidden gem! Their sliced potatoes and bacon are amazing. Great schnitzel., and the staff are great. I go here everytime I visit Germany. Beer garden out back and an attached bowling alley.

We were a group of four for dinner. The beer garden is quite nice, and it's a good place to sit and enjoy a cold drink. The service staff was friendly but seemed a bit overwhelmed, even though the outdoor area was practically empty. To be fair, there was a large group of dart players there, so they were certainly busy inside. We all ordered schnitzel, with either fries or fried potatoes. I just visited this small, charming pub in Massen with my girlfriend. The service staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, the food is really good, and the portions are more than generous. This was our first time here. The beer garden is very rustic but large. My meal was good, my wife's wasn't so great. We had a lot of ants at our table, which was quite annoying. Dogs are allowed. Payment is cash only; no card payments are accepted. Unfortunately, our waiter wasn't very efficient and forgot our drinks towards the end. Oh well, these things happen. My wife didn't like it at all and doesn't want to eat there again. That's our opinion. It's best to try it out and see for yourself.
