Edit: (I am changing my rating to 5 stars. My earlier rating was mainly influenced by the coffee, while the overall place, atmosphere, and service deserve better.) I feel that is is not fair to call a place Cafe when you don't know how to make proper coffee. The cappuccino tasted like milk with a tiny hint of milo. I didn't like it at all. The late art is clearly fake and the milk foam is not real, just air bubbles (wrong machine used). The atmosphere is very nice and the staff are friendly. This place has a big potential if they fire the current barista and hire the right one. Very small investment that will yield enormous returns. You have already spent all the money on the setup, don't cheap out on the right talent, you will end up paying the price in less business, or in never repeat customers.

A lovely dinner with my family. The setting is truly beautiful and the food excellent. The place reminds me of one of my favorite spots in Abidjan. Another thing I loved was the desserts; we ordered a lot and went home with a bill of 1995 GHS for that dinner. We'll definitely be back because it feels just like being back in our French-speaking country.

My experience at CafeClair was excellent from start to finish. The location is easy to find, making it a convenient spot for both locals and visitors. The interior is absolutely beautiful, with a picturesque and elegant ambience that creates a relaxing and classy dining experience with every corner of the restaurant feeling thoughtfully designed, making it perfect for both casual outings and special occasions. What stood out even more was the quality of service as the staff were incredibly helpful, calm, collected, and genuinely jovial, which made the atmosphere feel warm and welcoming. A grand-looking café with a big dessert display and lots of tempting options. The croissants here are huge and the coffee is solid. I tried the four-cheese halloumi croissant sandwich, incredibly cheesy, probably not the healthiest thing on the menu, but honestly delicious. Vegetarian options are somewhat limited, but there are plenty of other mains for those who aren’t vegetarian. Great spot if you’re in the mood for pastries, desserts, and good coffee.

A Half-Day Well Spent at CafeClair! ☕🍝🍪 I walked into CafeClair and honestly never wanted to leave — and I didn’t, for almost half a day! I indulged in both breakfast and lunch, and every single moment was worth it. I started my morning with their Creamy Oats served with Fresh Fruits, Pistachio Nuts and Honey — the perfect balance of wholesome and indulgent. Paired with a Caramel Ice Latte (Caramel Syrup, Espresso & Milk), it was the kind of breakfast that sets a beautiful tone for the day. Smooth, rich, and absolutely delightful! As the day rolled on, I treated myself to their Pink Chicken Pasta — and oh my! A rich, creamy pasta infused with jollof sauce, juicy chicken, fresh cherry tomatoes, sundried tomatoes, olives and basil, all crowned with Parmesan cheese and green oil. First off, the atmosphere and aesthetics of this place is great; it gives Bridgerton vibes. The service is generally fine. My issue with this place is the food. The food I ordered looked good but when I tasted it, it lacked any flavor and halfway through it I had a very serious urge to puke. My meal was GHS 400 for a plate and I was so disappointed and dissatisfied. I also got a soy milk cappuccino which was really good and a mango dessert which was fine. Overall I wouldn’t recommend anything on their food menu, as I didn’t have a good experience. But I would 100% recommend their drinks, coffee and desserts.

Café Claire definitely stands out for its beautiful, aesthetic setup. It’s a really nice spot if you’re into taking pictures or just want to relax in a cozy, modern space. The ambiance, decor, and overall vibe are impressive, and it’s clear they’ve put thought into making the place visually appealing. That said, the food didn’t quite live up to the setting. We ordered the lamb shank, but it was a bit too tough and lacked the rich flavor you’d expect from such a dish. The seasoning felt a little underwhelming, and overall, the taste didn’t quite justify the presentation or the price. I’d probably rate the food around a 5/10 not terrible, but definitely room for improvement. If you’re visiting for the atmosphere or a casual hangout spot, Café Claire is a great choice. But if you’re going mainly for the food, I’d say lower your expectations a bit. Hopefully, they can work on improving the menu because the potential is there.
