This review is for the restaurant. The entire complex is part of the sprawling Hotel Riviera Resort. The restaurant is in a vast hall which is decorated with beautiful wooden Guinean sculptures, including several huge statues which seem to be the prows of a fishing boat. It’s very impressive. The menu is elegant and there is a wide choice of dishes, with the usual separation of international and Guinean cuisine. We found the service rather slow but the food was excellent. The area outside has pleasant seating around an attractive courtyard swimming pool. With the disappearance of the Sheraton in Conakry, this now feels like the place to go at the top end of the market.
