Really, no complaints on all aspects of the dining experience. We watched a performance in City Hall and the Captain’s Bar is the perfect post-show drinks venue. We had some good light snacks, and ordered wine to chat in leisure. The live music was good, and even at late night it was full house. Of course, the crowd there is classy and everything was posh.

Good place to relax and chill, went on a Thursday night and unlike the other bars, they didn’t emphasize on stuff such as 1hr max per table. Service crew will also come refil your chips and cashews. (PS# chips are BBQ flavoured) Drinks are so-so, but great for chillin. There is a live band which isn’t too loud so people can still chat without shouting over their lungs.

Captain's Bar at Mandarin Oriental is is a legacy bar from the old days of Hong Kong. This bar has been around for over 50 years. It is classy place with red leather seating, traditional colonial era decor, seasoned waitstaff and a good drink list. Opening hours are 11am to 1am daily. We visited recently for a couple rounds of drinks. Cocktails are made well. The old-fashioned is bourbon and is a fair mix of stiff and sweet. White Russian was also a well-mixed drink. Drinks are served with chili peanuts and bbq crisps bar snacks, a good complement to the drinks. You can order lunch at Captain's Bar during weekdays. Dress code is comfortable attire before 5pm and slightly more formal afterwards (no shorts, open toed sandals, etc.) In the end, Captain's Bar is a neat place for a round or two if want to experience one of HK's traditional, old-school bars. You'll find it on the ground floor next to the check-in counters. Note that there is a small bar seating at the Chinnery restaurant

High end hotel jazz bar. Live music until about 11pm. We came here at around 10.30pm without a reservation. There wasn't any seats available so we waited inside the bar in the standing area. We placed our order and after waiting 10 minutes we had the next free table. Comfortable red leather seats. We ordered cocktail. They have a small stage at the full of the bar. We were able to catch a few songs before the performers stopped performance for the night. Popular bar. Bar empties out after 11pm when the Live performance stops. We left around 11.30pm.
