Lo que dice la gente
“We love their dim sum or yum cha dishes here at Tim Ho Wan. Very diverse options food and drinks too. Expect 15-30minutes wait to get a seat. Easily accessible from MTR Hongkong central station. Prices are reasonable too. Seating available on 2 side by side lots on the same location.”
“I wandered around the building finding way to the restaurant. The floor number of IFC mall and the subway was confusing. For the foods, turnip cake was wonderful. But the crispy dough was too crispy, it’s tasted like eating cracker not fried dough.”
“Some food was good but very cramed in seating. Ordered steamed chicken and it was raw. Didn't risk to take another bite. Tried to complain but nobody understood me. Guess they never had a complaint. Felt pressured to buy chinese tea. (We did) Expensive for what it is”

Tikoko★★★★★📍The location is quite tricky to find—we wandered around for ages before realizing you have to locate the Central MTR station first, then head down to the basement level to find the restaurant. 😍It was a bit of a treasure hunt, but totally worth it! The food here is outstanding ✨: • Baked BBQ Pork Buns: The crispy outer crust shatters at the first bite, revealing juicy, sweet-savory BBQ pork filling—pure perfection. • Har Gow (Shrimp Dumplings): Delicate translucent wrappers encase plump, bouncy shrimp, bursting with fresh seafood flavor. • Steamed Chicken Feet in Black Bean Sauce: Tender enough to fall off the bone, coated in a rich, savory black bean sauce that’s deeply aromatic. • Red Rice Rolls: Crispy on the outside, soft inside, filled with succulent shrimp—dipped in sweet soy sauce, it’s a classic delight. • Pair it with a cup of Hong Kong-style Milk Tea: Robust, creamy, and the perfect palate cleanser for all the rich dim sum. As a Michelin-starred budget dim sum spot,

Daniel Dragan★★★★★If you are looking for an exceptional dining experience that perfectly balances authentic flavors with modern presentation, Timowan is the place to be. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere and impeccable service. The Highlights: • The Food: Every dish was a masterpiece. The ingredients felt incredibly fresh, and the attention to detail in the seasoning was evident. It’s rare to find a place where the appetizers are just as impressive as the main courses. • The Ambiance: The interior design is chic yet cozy—perfect for a romantic date night or a sophisticated dinner with friends. The lighting and acoustics allow for actual conversation, which is a huge plus. • The Service: The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu. Our server gave excellent recommendations that truly elevated our meal. Final Verdict: Timowan has set a high bar for excellence. It isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience. It is easily one of the
Fatima Tsang★★The space so tight and it is not a good experience at all (see photos where the chairs are touching each other when they are average size chairs...). There is no elbow room. Shrimp rice rolls... You can easily find better rice rolls outside. They are so stingy with the shrimps, they are minced shrimps! The rice sheet is so thick! The only compliment is that the rice sheet is soft.... Spinach dumplings. It's decent size, somehow it feels oily inside... Chicken feet. It's decent size, but it's not cooked long enough as the sauce just barely penetrated through. I added the black truffle mushroom dumplings.... They look so shrunk up. The taste is stale fat.... No truffle oil nor mushroom taste. Just a mouthful of stale oil...
Vina Klein★★★★★The dim sum here is elite. This place is so incredibly affordable because I am used to paying an arm and a leg for good dim sum in MN but when you come to the SOURCE in HK, well you get the best for a fraction of the price. We had the most delicious shu mai, quintessentially delicious chicken feet, scrumptious pork ribs, fried squid, and some other tasty things. Also the jasmine tea was perfect.

Vyn_Walking_all_the_time★★★★★Good place for Dimsum served whole day. Usually very crowded place. I went there around 3 pm, plenty of seats available. Suimai ( steamed shrimp & pork dumpling), Deep fried Shrimp with Avocado sauce, Baked buns with truffle chicken & bbq pork are all superb taste freshly. Always enjoy good food here when visiting HK.
