“Great tasting food here. Small place and may have to queue awhile if you come during peak hours. Definitely worth the wait. Highly recommend milk with honey. We had mutton keema and chicken cheese grilled sandwich. Food came fast and service was great.”
“One of the best Irani cafe’s that I’ve visited so far. The chicken cheese grilled sandwich, chicken kheem ghotala and masala cheese fry are worth trying, they were delicious. However, toast bun maska honey and Chicken Russian kebab didn’t make it upto the mark. Overall a great place to visit.”
“Cafe Irani Chai in Mahim has that classic old café feel which makes the place really special. The vintage vibe, good chai, and tasty food make it a perfect spot to just sit and unwind.”

Jay Velwan★★★★Visited Cafe Irani Chai recently and had an amazing experience! We started with their Bun Maska and Irani Chai — both were absolutely perfect and full of authentic flavor. Then the staff recommended the Mutton Kheema Fry, and I’m so glad we tried it. The mutton was incredibly tender, literally melt-in-the-mouth, and it was served with soft pav that paired perfectly with the kheema. I personally loved this dish so much! The taste was incredible and the overall food quality was amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back many more times because they serve one of the best Mutton Kheema Fry I’ve had. Highly recommended!
Arbaaz Attar★★★Well the food was undoubtedly amazing but my biggest issue with the place was the portion size. Relative to the prices they offer very, I mean extremely low quantity. Neither this place is some very fine dine restaurant nor very big. It's a small outlet (no issues with that) but unnecessarily expensive. I have been to other Irani cafes in other cities and they offered remarkably decent portion sizes. (Like Irani cafe in Pune) If you oversee this, the food is good. You must try Mutton Kheema Pav and Irani Chai ofcourse. The Galaunti Kababs were fine I would say. The chicken roll was good.
Anish Karkera★★★★This place is always a go-to when we're craving delicious breakfast. If it was closer to us we would go almost everyday. We always order the masala fry cheese bhurji because it's incredible, full of cheese and fried onions, what's not to like. The mutton kheema fry was also very good, not too spicy but still crazy flavorful. Tastes even better after adding lemon. The pav and bun maska are fresh. Irani black tea was good too. They don't have pallonjis anymore, some other drink instead but it tastes exactly like pallonjis so we can't complain.
Sahil★★★Cafe Irani Chai in Mahim scores high on location and accessibility. It’s conveniently situated with easy access from Mahim railway station, and the connecting road makes local transport readily available—definitely a plus for first-time visitors or those exploring the area. As a visitor, I was keen to try this place given its popularity and the buzz around its Irani-style offerings. The preparation style is indeed quite unique and different from what we usually get in the Delhi NCR region, which adds to the curiosity and appeal. However, when it comes to taste, nothing really stood out as mind-blowing. The place is famous for its concept and the uniqueness of dishes on offer, but the flavours and aroma didn’t quite live up to the hype. I tried a fairly wide spread—Bun Maska, Mutton Keema, Irani Deluxe Chicken Cheese Burger, Veg Cheese Burger, and Paneer Bhurji. Among all of these, the Chicken Cheese Burger was the most flavourful and enjoyable. The rest of the dishes, unfortunately,

Ashlyn Dsilva★★★★★Situated in mahim is this 50 year old irani cafe. Just as what one would expect it's the old school vibe. The staff is really kind and attentive. The place is small so some wait time is to be expected but no worries as cashier makes sure the queue is upheld. The irani chai here was uniquely sweet. Had the cheese chicken grilled sandwich which was perfect from the toast to the filling. Took mutton keema fry as takeout which was also decent. Overall a must visit place!!
