This is a great restaurant with a wide variety of food options on the menu. Whether you prefer traditional dishes or something different, there are plenty of choices available. I have visited this restaurant twice for dinner, and both times I had a good experience. The quality of the food was consistently good — everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The portion sizes were also generous and offered good value for the price. The overall atmosphere was pleasant, making it a nice place to enjoy dinner with friends or family. The only downside was that smoking is allowed inside the restaurant. The smell of smoke slightly reduced the comfort of the dining experience, especially for non-smokers. Overall, it is a good restaurant, and I would recommend it, especially if indoor smoking does not bother you.

Restaurant Performance Review I recently visited this restaurant, and overall, my experience was quite underwhelming. The place itself is fairly normal — clean enough and decently maintained, but nothing stands out in terms of atmosphere or service. The staff were polite but not particularly attentive. It took a while to get our order taken, and the food didn’t arrive as quickly as expected, especially given that the restaurant wasn’t very busy. As for the food, it was unfortunately below average. The dishes lacked flavor and freshness, and some items tasted like they had been reheated rather than freshly prepared. The presentation was also plain and uninspired. Given the quality of the food and the overall experience, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. There are definitely better options nearby that offer more enjoyable meals for the same price. Samad is one of the ancient yet very well known traditional restaurants in Iraq in general, though it has many branches all over the world, this one in Erbil was the main one, It was a diverse team building lunch we had in this restaurant, it was the best place to make foreigners try authentic Iraqi cuisine, the appetizers were on the house, served with their delicious Iraqi bread then the main course was served hot, clean, very well done, and everyone enjoyed their time and the food, Though the restaurant is not quiet, but I would call it nice white noise, almost like the one from the Old Iraqi restaurants… and I can say, that due to the large number of the employees who attended to the restaurant, we were probably the source of 50% of that noise :) All in all, it was a wonderful experience

Excellent middle eastern food in a great setting. Very helpful the menu is on a iPad and you can select English if you don't read Arabic nor Kurdish. I introduced them to mixing fresh orange and pomegranate juices!
