End of an era! My partner and I have visited Abrakebabra Carlow every single Friday for 5 years specifically for their legendary, old-school Taco Fries. While other branches changed, Carlow always kept the amazing "OG" recipe. Sadly, we went last week and it has completely changed to the newer recipe. It was incredibly greasy, oily, and just really unpleasant. So disappointed to see the famous Carlow Taco Chip ruined. You’ve unfortunately lost two loyal customers.

Best Abra I've eaten in, everything is cooked and prepared the exact same way by all staff members. The owners should be very proud of this restaurant. I have to have a chicken baget and a taco fries once a month, life is not worth living otherwise.

No meals ?? I am shocked . Over €15 for one person . Nearly a fiver for a drink? This is crazy?? No meals won’t be dining here again very sad as food is good!

Abrakebabra Carlow – where kebabs go to die. Honestly, they should be reported to the UN for crimes against kebabs. I ordered kebab and chips, but what I got was a potato festival with a cameo appearance by 7 lonely bits of meat. Seven! I’ve had more chicken fall off my fork by accident than the amount of meat they gave me on purpose. €8.50 for this scam? For that price, I expect a kebab that makes me see God, not a sad chip mountain covered in mayo. Absolute daylight robbery. Never again – unless they’re handing out free magnifying glasses so I can actually find the meat next time
