A true gem and an oasis above the bussle of the English market. It's a busy place so book ahead or prepare to queue. Entrance is up a tight stairs but you'll get up. Staff are super friendly. Breakfast is 9 -11 but go for Lunch at 12. Great food, great service and cracking location. Did i mention great food?

I had the bacon and cabbage and it was top notch, simple on paper but executed with real confidence, exceptional produce, properly sourced and treated with respect. This was our first meal in Cork, and we came here specifically because of the strong recommendations for traditional local food. There were four of us without a reservation and we waited about 15 minutes for a table, which was reasonable. We arrived slightly before the lunch menu started, so we sat for a bit until it became available. Got the chicken supreme, apple tart and a raspberry Bellini- all very nice!!! Especially the apple tart with ice cream as it was hot and the vanilla ice cream wasn’t cheap ice cream. The atmosphere there was really nice, overlooking the English market. The waitress that served us was lovely
