Alma was such a great brunch spot in Dublin. We had the Choripan Argento and the dulce de leche pancakes, and both were delicious. The food felt unique, flavorful, and fun without being overdone. The pancakes were rich in the best way, and the whole experience was such a treat. They also made us the most beautiful cappuccino and matcha. The staff was incredibly welcoming and kind to us. Definitely recommend for brunch if you want something a little different than the usual. Also recommend making a reservation as outdoor seating is limited.

Honestly, incredible food. We made the mistake of not booking but they accommodated us with an outside table so defo book! Staff were attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Really disappointed with our experience at Alma today. After a lovely visit six months ago, we were excited to return, but today was a massive letdown to see the drop in quality. We got two orders of the pancakes with added streaky rashers which were either looking raw and undercooked or totally cremated. The caramel syrup was tasteless, and the mascarpone was far too sweet, tasting more like heavy cake frosting. Staff seemed more happy to take payment than to greet us at the door but on the bright side, the berries were nice, but the rest of the dish was a massive disappointment.

I’d heard so much about this place as one of Dublin’s most popular breakfast spots, so my expectations were quite high. The atmosphere is nice and lively, and the presentation of the food is appealing. I ordered the Turkish eggs!, and unfortunately, they were the weakest dish I tried. The flavors didn’t really come together, and the eggs were overcooked rather than properly poached. The matcha was okay, but the orange juice tasted slightly bitter. On a more positive note, the ragu toast was really good, something I’d recommend. Other thing that we were asked to leave after about an hour. Overa
