Been there twice in a month on weekdays and surprised we could find seats for dinner. Nice decor in the pub. Located far enough from the touristy part of Temple Bar, not getting slagged too much by the locals. Was not too loud and we are able to talk with each other.

Really suggest to came here. On the wall there are a lot of dolls, skeletons and other horror face that make the atmosphere really intensive and interesting. There are a stage, on which i think there are live music. Food is very good. I try the hamburger proposed by the house and was really delicious. Obviously beside a good guinnes!! The service was kindly and fast! Don’t miss this place. Reservation i think is adviced but not mandatory (we was 2 and did not book in advance)

Unique interior design bar Has all the horror movies dolls and all sorts of hanging horror stuff. Has a stage for live bands playing all day round. Serving food all day , Irish stew , delicious food and drinks. Outside sitting area. Rock pictures on the walls. Busy bar, suitable for wheelchairs and kids if they allow them in.

The Wild Duck was my highlight of my short layover trip in Dublin! My phone had died and I walked by and saw it on a side street and was immediately drawn to it. Thank you especially to Nick for the amazing recommendations, I ended up going with the chicken parm with fries and it was a huge portion size! He was also so kind to lend me his personal power bank to charge my phone. The ambience at the location is phenomenal, loved the decor choices and was especially glad to catch the La Liga game I had missed while in transit. If you’re in Dublin this is the pub to be at!
