Right at the entrance of the New Gate of the Old City of Jerusalem, this cafe has a really cool vibe and location. The place is a bookshop, coffee shop and bar all in one. It also serves some great cheese and assorted meat platters that are a great deal when paired with its large selection of international wine bottles on sale. 🍷 the gateway also features a great selection of bottled international beer at a really fair price. This is a real Gem to grab an afternoon beer after touring or with friends.

Why have I only found this sweet place now?!? Ahhhh… the best coffee in Jerusalem, tucked away in a quaint little alley at the entrance of the New Gate of the Old City. The experience was very disappointing. The wine did not meet expectations, and the staff lacked the necessary knowledge and professionalism. The atmosphere was uncomfortable and lacked any sense of refinement, while the prices were high compared to the level of service and quality offered. I do not recommend visiting this place again.
