We arrived at Caffè Casali Lucca just before closing time, but the staff still welcomed us warmly and served us without hesitation – their kindness really stood out! The coffee was delicious, and the hot chocolate was a real treat, both perfectly prepared. The pastries were decent and satisfying, complementing our drinks nicely. The atmosphere was pleasant and cozy, making it a great spot to unwind with a good coffee while exploring Lucca. It’s a lovely place to take a break, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

I had a very disappointing experience with the service. The waiter behaved rudely and was unprofessional throughout the interaction. At one point, they even raised their voice, which made the situation uncomfortable and unpleasant. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in a service environment where politeness and respect are expected. I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure better customer service in the future.

This place is in a great location for people watching and getting off your feet. The staff are friendly, the gelato very good (sit down or take away), and the drinks are well crafted. Bar Casali is decorated indoors with the absolute coolest set of vintage miniature vehicles I have ever seen !! Worth a visit for that alone. We were there several times during our stay in Lucca, customers were having fun and the scene was lively.

Waitress basically acted like she didn't want us there even when the place was nearly empty. Go somewhere that actually appreciates your business. Coffee was fine.
