A special place definitely worth a visit. For lunch there are five pasta starters and then 5 meat options for 2nd courses. The menu changes according to the day of the week. Dinner options are fixed. The hosts/servers were very kind and helped store our luggage. Prices are very fair. Two settings per lunch. I would return. No toilet, just a hole in the ground.

Wonderful experience in a true family Trattoria, where the gregarious and welcoming Alessandro knows each of his obviously local guests. I sat and watched the place fill up, every single seat occupied, happy customers and delicious food. One single page of menu, always a good sign of quality over quantity. Hard to express just how wonderful our visit to Trattoria Ermes was, we were warmly welomed by Alessandro and his cheery team to a convivial atmosphere (always a good reflection when the restaurant is filled with locals, the menu is limited and wine is served in a carafe). Our palate was in overdrive thanks to the delicious pasta we devoured as well as the unforgettable ossobuco, with freshly baked bread, and a crisp bottle of local Lambrusco.
