We had an excellent meal here. We were impressed by the beautiful interior and the fantastic staff. We started with some very tasty cocktails. I really enjoyed the gold rush (a whisky sour variant). We then had a large variety of appetizers and bitings. Of those the bone marrow and the camembert were our favourites. They are a must order for sure. Thanks also to our excellent waitress; Chester, who advised the camembert. For our mains we had the pork belly and the lasagne. The lasagne was a very unique (and delicious) take on traditional lasagne. We finished with a tiramisu and a cheesecake. We were treated to a truly joyful birthday song which really ended the beautiful evening. Highly recommend a visit for anyone staying near Killimani.

I had the most unexpectedly beautiful solo dinner at 5 Senses Restaurant and I’m still thinking about it. From the moment I walked in, the energy was different; warm, intentional and genuinely kind. The team? Absolutely top-tier. Attentive without hovering, patient without pressure, and incredibly thoughtful. I spent most of my evening tucked away writing something personal and not once did I feel rushed or out of place. Instead, I felt… held. The ambience is a solid 10/10 — soft, inviting and effortlessly elegant. The food? Beautifully presented, full of flavor and clearly made with care. Every dish felt like it had a story. What truly set the night apart was the heart behind the service. Out of pure kindness, they surprised me with dessert “on the house.” Such a small gesture on paper, but it landed deeply. It was the kind of hospitality you don’t forget. Special mention to the head chef/owner, whose warm hello and sincere gratitude added such a personal touch to the experience.

The service was just as impressive, our waitress Chester was attentive and had a great eye for detail. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Yesterday evening at the Five Sense restaurant with my wife Leah was marked by the hope of spending a lovely evening with an exceptional dinner. Preliminary online research led me to choose this restaurant. My decision was more than correct. Traveling a lot for work and visiting many restaurants, I must say from the bottom of my heart that coming to you was the right decision. It began with a warm welcome, and the rest of the evening turned into an absolute delight. Cester, our waitress, was exceptionally polite. With a smart smile, she accompanied each course of the dinner, explained each dish in great detail, and was very attentive. What impressed me and my wife, however, was that she wasn't feigning it; if our knowledge of human nature isn't deceiving us, it came from the heart. What really enhanced this dinner was that the quantity was more than sufficient. The food deserves a Michelin star; what we were offered was beyond top-notch! We were warmly welcomed and guided to our amazing table. The staff are incredibly professional and warm, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The ambience, paired with soft music, created a cozy and intimate atmosphere. The food was absolutely amazing, delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. My favorite part was when the staff celebrated my birthday and sang for me. It truly made the evening so special. We were served by Ian, who was very proactive and warm throughout the night. Came here to celebrate a birthday and had a great meal and experience! The service was incredibly attentive & friendly, the atmosphere and decor was great (including live music with a very talented violinist), and most importantly the food was delicious. I had a very nice mezcal cocktail, bone marrow that was rich and delicious, and perfectly cooked duck breast. Portions were all generous and I'll definitely be back!

I would not call it fine dining per se but it is a decent restaurant. The ambience is great and the staff are kind. The food was the issue as we barely enjoyed it or maybe they set the expectation too high. I ordered a medium rare stake and got a very hard well done steak so that was a bummer. The waiter also kept forgetting who ordered what. All in all not bad.
