This is hands down our favourite place in Nairobi but we save it for very special occasions because it’s such an amazing and unique experience. This is proper fine dining. Each course explained to you in detail and then you try and pick out the many ingredients from every single bite. Just amazing. The menu is designed by Dennis who manages to identify some unique flavours and mix them up - shiro and aubergine? Halloumi and ugali? Yes!! The service is superb and everyone truly cares about what they’re doing and I also love that it’s all ladies in the kitchen ;-) be sure to book ahead to book your table. You can choose the pairing menu with wines and tea or sample the cocktails, wines, teas etc to your own liking (our preference) they have a stellar bar tender.

This was, beyond, an amazing experience! Every dish was wonderful, flavorful, and unique. I’m still amazed at how the chefs turned veggies into an amazing, sweet dessert dish! I always appreciate when restaurants accommodate dietary requirements, such as mine. I had a fully vegan/ plant-based meal! The service was incredible! Pius and Kevin were amazing hosts! I love how they gave a descriptive, verbal presentation of each course, and we also learned a bit of history throughout. This was truly a fine dining experience, and a wonderful place to celebrate a birthday! I enjoyed and was wowed by the birthday surprise after the last course. I would visit Nairobi again, just to experience Embark again! Bravo! I need an encore!
