I’ve been to Squisito twice now and honestly… it’s already one of my favorite sandwich spots in Beirut. The sandwiches are excellent every single time; fresh, perfectly made, and packed with high quality ingredients. They bake their own focaccia and bread which makes a HUGE difference; always crunchy and light. The perfect sandwich container for any sandwich that is not a shawarma! Today I ordered the turkey sandwich (turkey, buffalo mozzarella, tomato — so good), and I casually mentioned it would be even better with basil… and the manager went inside and came back out with a little bowl of fresh basil leaves for me. 🥹🌿 That kind of attention to detail is rare, and it made my whole day. Also: the chef is clearly a sandwich wizard, and the manager is… extremely cute. Just saying. If you’re in Gemmayzeh and want a proper Italian bellissimo sandwich moment, go. You’ll thank me.
