Loved the ambience of this place. As the name suggests, it has a distinct Chinese influence. I loved the red lamps and the paintings. Came here on a Sunday evening and it was almost empty. I started with a Misty Jiangnan (Google translated name), from their Cocktails 2.0 menu. Bacon washed whiskey went well with apricot Brandy, paired with apple wood aroma. 3 O' Clock was a pretty good follow up. It was my first time trying Advocaat Liqueur. Mixed with whiskey, apple juice and milk, and topped off with nutmeg, it sustained my buzz really well. I finished off with the 5000 B.C. It used the famous heritage Ipoh white coffee. I loved the combination with Jameson and white chocolate liqueur. The bitter Lindt chocolate worked wonders as well. The bartenders are really friendly and willing to engage in conversation. I love this new bar in Ipoh, at least it is new to me! It is pretty easy to locate, just opposite from my favourite hangout place each time I am in town. I was estatic to discover that I have options now. So far, I have 2 visits during my last trip to Ipoh, and both were positive experiences. The crafted cocktails seemed original, and the ingredients used were interesting, to say the least. My current favourite is the sea coconut infused rum. I do have one observation I.e. for the pricing here, the cocktails are a bit low on the abv side. I usually like my drinks stronger and not as if I am having mocktails instead. On the other hand, I have to give them props on the presentation. Each drink is presented nicely with unique receptacles. I ordered some bar food and they were also good and served warm. The interior decoration is pretty but I wish they would fully embrace their theme of being bank for example, one side of the wall would be lined with safe deposit boxes etc instead of the r

The fun starts even before you get inside, as finding the entrance is an adventure itself—once you do, a vault door opens! :) The cocktails are truly unique, creative, and unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere. I rarely ever write reviews, but this time I’ve truly reached my limit. To be fair, the place itself is great — good location, clean and comfortable environment, and the music volume is just right for chilling and having conversations. But everything was completely ruined by one thing: the bartender with the ponytail. His attitude was shockingly bad. I work in sales, and I have never encountered someone this rude and disrespectful. He had absolutely no manners, cut me off while I was speaking, and acted arrogantly, as if customers owed him something. I strongly urge the management to replace this guy. If he finds his job so unbearable, he simply shouldn’t be doing it. Such arrogance from a bartender is beyond laughable — it’s downright unacceptable.

Great variety of authentic signature drinks. Good snacks. Great ambience. Chill music. Good interior design and deco. They had real Chinese drums as furniture! Good looking crowd for singles. Owner and staff are friendly and they explained the drinks and how to drink them well. Came early at 8am. Got a good look at the place and talked to the owner. Stayed till they closed and came back again the next day because their signature drinks were just too delicious definitely a hidden gem in Ipoh for visitors like me.
