On Friday evening I ended up at Palo 101 not knowing what the entertainment complex contained. Being in the mood for a few (or more) lagers I saw a big sign for Guinness and the name of Wharehouse. I, being a genius, assumed this must be a bar! Yippee. Walking into Wharehouse I was impressed! It was a big indoor venue (aka the name) with a large funky crowd with all eyes looking at the big stage where a brilliant live act was performing. As I was alone (I'm backpacking round SE Asia) and a heavy smoker I spent the evening consuming several very tasty draught Tigers—RM22—in an outdoor seating area (belonging to a dessert restaurant but had no hassles from anyone) slowly getting merry. The staff were friendly enough, the Tigers were very nice, and at the outside seating area it was fun and interesting watching the trendy locals going about their Fri evening entertainment. It was a perfect place to chill and talk with your friends , the band singing there was superb with the interaction with the audience. The food is good too like the snacks , just some improvement needed as staff should try to make eye contact with customers when walking around during the band singing because when customers shout they won't hear it as the bass and speakers are too loud (my table doesn't contain a call button)
