Came accross this place on tik tok vide and decided to give it a try. Went there about 2 saturdays ago around 6.30pm. Wasnt aware that is was like a local Indian pub/bistro. We ordered the following food: 1. French Fries 2. Prawn tapas in chili oil (hope I got the name right). This was more like an Indian twist with a good kick of chili. This was just superb and mopped up the chili oil and prawns with the garlic bread. I would give this dish a thumbs up. 3. Sweedish Meatballs in onion sauce. The meatballs was super moist not at all dry and well balanced taste. However i personally didnt enjoy the sweet onion sauce/gravy as it was too sweet for my liking. Next time we will order the meetballs with the gravy on the side. Overall the meatballs were superb. 4. Mutton Varuval Pizza. This was the best I have had in a long long time. It was thin crust, mildly spicy varuval, and in simple words its a must eat dish everytime you go to Lavaas. Highly recommended. Dont miss this pizza. 5. Claypo

Finally found a nice spot to catch up with friends, Lavaa Restobar. The kind of place you can just sit, talk nonsense, laugh non-stop and lose track of time. Food was really good, not gonna lie. The Mutton Varuval Pizza is a must try, flavour memang terbaik 5 bintang, got that spicy kick. And the Potato Onion Bhaji… simple but damn sedap, kept munching non stop. Overall good place, good vibes, good food. Confirm will come back again.

First time trying this place out, after knowing the mutton varuval pizza is great. Probably came with high expectations. The mutton varuval pizza was good but pretty much the same as other places, was expecting it to be better (3.5/5). The fish burger was okay, the onion was too punchy it washed off other flavours in the burger (2/5). Environment is pretty chill, service was okay. Prices are pretty expensive except for the lunch sets which I think would be worth it. Overall, it was good first try, will try again for lunch.

This is some 8 months old and I was quite happy I paid them a visit. I was glad to see that the owners stood good notice of social distancing etiquette puts them in good stead. They have a fair bit of pork on the menu and thats not my cup of tea but the chicken poppers was excellent. The brioche bread (with mutton) was excellent. And my friends couldn't stop raving on about the pork dishes. The icing on the cake was their cocktails. Credit goes to 'Ali' for his skills and passion. Certainly worth a visit.

Celebrated a gf’s birthday here last night .. we had a chill night loaded with yummy food with the band playing light n easy music in the background .. my second visit here within a month and again can’t stop eating the amazing French fries .. and oh the Lamb Straganoff was to die for as well .. thank you staff of Lavaa for making it a wonderful evening for us 🥰🥰

Woah! I usually like to read reviews when I get to a place. The last few reviews were only 1 star without clear comments and elaboration. Were they objective reviews or just utter nuisance? You can see my previous reviews and know that I try to provide objective points. Worst case? 4 stars la. My view? 5 stars obviously! I'm not saying this is the best in the world. I'm saying it is the best in what it does and because of this, nothing much to improve. If you like to just whine and complain, I'm sure you can find some ridiculous pointers. First off, beer - perfectly chilled. Service? Super fast... Maybe some jokers wanna complain too fast la 😜 To be fair, I was early before the regulars come in to pack this place FULL HOUSE. OK la, if I wanna complain... Food was good. I liked the Mutton Varuval. One of the most commented in the reviews. Chicken 65? LOVED IT. 😋 So what's my complaint?
