I recently visited Indo Kitchen Bar in Almere, located on the Belfortplein, and had a nice experience. The restaurant is situated on the first floor overlooking the square, which is lined with various eateries. This gives the place a lively, cozy atmosphere. We had a reservation for two. The interior is tastefully decorated with warm wooden elements and subtle Indonesian touches that create an inviting, authentic feel. The only thing I found slightly out of place was the music, more house-style beats, which didn’t fully match the serene, Indonesian atmosphere. Then again, it is also a bar, so

We got the “all you can eat” menu but in reality it’s not at all all you can eat. Maximum 7 orders, 2 dishes per round per person with limited time of 2.5 hours. The service was so slow that it was impossible to order 7 times in 2.5 hours. Portions are super small, literally 1 piece of chicken thigh (you can see in the pictures). About the taste of the food, I can say some dishes were really good, but some were just ok. Overall, the taste was good. I can definitely see potential for the food but improvement in service and menu is needed.

I don’t enjoy the night there and also the food! That part of square is always empty I don’t know why . The local is nice but not great atmosphere Nd the food not the best. Also expensive Disappointed

A really nice place with a great ambiance and even better food. Do go in if you love Indonesian cuisine - its authentic & super tasty. Went with my parents & they loved it very much. Must try - Rendang curry.
