We were looking for a gluten free option to have lunch at. We ended up here by accident and were pleasantly surprised. Kind staff and especially the (not gluten free) pulled chicken sandwich was very good and a lot more than you would expect. Also the terrace looks over the whole square, which is nice and full of oak trees.

Okay place in apparently the oldest remaining building in Emmen, a Saxon farm. Went here for dinner, and had the 3 course set menu. Good spread of choices, although not very adventurous. Food was well made, and the staff was friendly.

We visited with 4 adults and 3 kidz. Good restaurant with nice location in the village centre. Its a better alternative for restaurants at the wildlife park. Restaurants at the park serve only basic fast food. Its a family friendly restaurant with a little above average menu. A seperate childrens menu and child seat are available. The service is very helpfull and friendly. We where served by 5 different waiters during our visit which is a bit odd and doesnt really improve service i think. Food quality is good. Very nice location, service and atmosphere, but the food was way below par. The veggie lasagna had no taste and everything else was too salty except the veggie quiche which is supposed to be salty (and was the best item we ordered).
