We had a lovely dinner at Bistro La Plume and it was a real highlight of our time in Haarlem. The space has a cozy, intimate bistro feel—warm lighting, relaxed energy, and just the right amount of buzz to make it feel special without being loud or overwhelming. We started with the onion soup, which was absolutely incredible—deeply flavorful, rich, and perfectly balanced. It was easily one of the standout dishes of the entire trip. Located with a nice view of the church. Food was good. I had the pea ravioli (nice), swordfish (excellent and well balanced) and the éclair (unfortunately somewhat lacking in taste and balance). I also had the Ex pornstar mocktail which was very good. Atmosphere and service is relaxed and friendly which I enjoyed since it gave me time to enjoy myself without feeling rushed, however if you're in a rush you might find the time between dishes a little long.

Cosy atmosphere, relaxed and attentive service as well as delicious food. Any more wishes? On top of it, Bistro La Plume is located directly at a nice square with lots of restaurants and, thereby, is embedded in a very nice flair. It’s absolutely worth going there. Try the tuna!

One of the few in the neighborhood open kitchen after 10PM in Saturday which is great!! The bread before the meal taste very well. We ordered Gamba and Spare Rib. The shrimp in the Gamba is fresh and big. The spare rib is such a big portion. It’s more than enough to share between us two and it comes with a fries as well!
