Great local cinema, one of the last of its kind, I suppose. Located right in the heart of Heerlen, it's easy to get to by whichever means of transport you choose. It's within walking distance from the train station and bus stops, reachable by bike or by car - you can park at a nearby parking garage at a discount when you purchase a film + parking combo ticket. They redid the entire place years ago and added a lovely bar where you can get food and drinks before and after the film - with some seriously good food might I add! They play most of the big films, but as they are a rather small venue,

There is a very nice restaurant located in the cinema. Great to grab a bite and have a drink before the movie. Flammkuchen are recommended (the spare ribs not so much). Very friendly staff at the restaurant and cinema. The big viewing room downstairs is great (huge screen) and the seats are very spacious. Unfortunately there was a faint smell like in a damp cellar. The ventilation system is a bit noisy which is noticeable during quiet sections of the movie. Nevertheless, a very nice experience and I will come back for sure. Lovely small cinema in the centre of the town. Great selection of snack food & drinks available and exceptionally comfortable seats. The break in the middle of the film for a loo (toilet) break was different from what I'm used to in the UK but actually was very sensible and sociable as I chatted to other filmgoers in the queue!
