My experience was horrible. I visited Chiaro Café this evening intending to spend a few hours studying in what appeared to be a calm and aesthetically pleasing environment. While the food was good and the ambiance initially seemed ideal, the overall experience was unfortunately very disappointing due to how I was treated by staff. Upon arrival, I confirmed that the café closes at 9pm and placed my order shortly before 6pm. I was then informed that I would not be able to remain for that duration (till 9pm) unless I continued ordering at short intervals(every 3minutes), yes you read that right! She also said there was a minimum spend (bu the way, my order was way above the spend but she didn’t verify before coming to me) By past 7pm, the air conditioning was turned off well before closing time, making the environment uncomfortable, and I felt subtly pressured to leave despite being a paying customer within operating hours.
