I happened to be nearby the client’s office, so I came over to give it a try. I ordered Masala Tea, Lemon Pepper Coriander Soup, Tandoori Chicken, and Butter Naan. The Masala Tea tasted similar to Assam milk tea, but somehow it felt fresher on the palate The Lemon Pepper Coriander Soup tasted a bit like Hu La Tang (Chinese spicy soup), but lighter. The Tandoori Chicken was pretty good! Maybe it’s also because there aren’t many great food options around here. The Butter Naan was decent too—nice and buttery.

Pondicheri serves top tier Indian food in Lagos. I had the biryani, butter naan and chicken masala and everything tasted amazing! The spice was just right and the naan was so buttery. The portions were also very reasonable and could honestly feed two people. I got so caught up with the food, I didn't even remember to take photos! I will definitely be going back there

I ended up coming to Pondicheri after visiting two other Indian Restaurants in the hope of a good.dinner. I have to say I was blown away from the entrance, beautiful scenery, amazing ambience, beautiful artworks, very clean environment and well as clean toilets. Then the food as well was amazing and the crux of it was the manager came to check to see if we were comfortable. That's exemplary service. Food is very affordable for the class and quality of service. Totally recommend I left full and happy.

As you arrive, outside, the security are friendly & helpful. Friendly greetings at the front door by the staff. The interior has that Indian touch but not in your face kind, very subtle. Lighting is discreet with plenty of light coming in from the street side. Service was prompt with knowledgeable staff giving us descriptions of each dish that we where interested in. Our orders came promptly & with style. The dishes where well presented using fresh ingredients. The restaurant has 3 dining areas to choose from. Downstairs area overlooking the street, upstairs dining also overlooking the street with views of the Ilupeju neighbourhood & the outside bar area also overlooking the Ilupeju neighbourhood. Both inside dining areas have the same seating arrangements. The outside bar area is open to the cool breeze with plenty of flower pots around the edge of the area. What's unique about the bar area is a mural of Tin Tin, the Captain & his dog. It's a must see.

From the pictures you'll observe I ate 3 different foods with 2 others, and we cleaned our plates. You should try this restaurant!
