Things kicked off with two types of bread (the cornbread was amazing) and three flavored butters—red pepper, garlic aioli, and Portuguese chorizo. The red pepper butter was the standout; the others were just okay. We went tapa-style with Iberico ham croquettes, shrimp, chorizo tortilla, and a mixed charcuterie/cheese board. The croquettes were warm and tasty, and the shrimp had just the right amount of spice. The rest was decent, though the board didn’t quite match the quality of the other dishes. We shared a red fruit sparkling sangria—honestly one
