Christina Ly★★★★I liked the appetizer plate to share as to discover local cuisine. Unfortunately my steak tuna was overcooked, dry and salty. The plate of pork cheek was tender and good. So it’s a hit or miss. The wine are inexpensive and quite quaffable.
The Compass Guy★★★★Tucked away in the cobbled streets of Évora, Tábua do Naldo is the kind of place that makes you wonder if Portugal decided to bottle centuries of culinary tradition and serve it with a wink. This restaurant has been quietly serving hearty Alentejo dishes for years, making locals and confused tourists alike feel simultaneously very full and culturally enlightened. The interiors are rustic but charming, with wooden beams, tiled walls, and the faint aroma of garlic and olive oil that could probably qualify as a local natural landmark. The menu proudly showcases regional staples: slow-cooked pork
Sue Low★★★★★The staff were very attentive and the service was excellent. Our food was very good and the servings were just right. I had a food allergy and the staff made recommendations accordingly. Cannot fault anything. Thank you very much for a lovely meal. Highly recommend this restaurant.
AK Advisor★★★★I’m not sure about this place. One part of me wanna say it’s a tourist trap, the other one says it’s okay for a place like this. I don’t know to be honest. The food was okay … maybe I just didn’t like over salted mashed potatoes… or the appetizer platter was not tasty and I found it too expensive because of it. The food is generally okay but feels a bit overpriced for what you get to be honest. Maybe I’m more a fan of local Portuguese cuisine in Lisbon area. Anyways, you should try by yourself and decide :)
