Absolutely terrible experience. I suffered from food poisoning after eating here and had severe stomach pain for hours. The food quality was very questionable and clearly not fresh. To make matters worse, the surrounding area felt unsafe and poorly maintained. The neighborhood is not welcoming, especially for tourists. I would never come back and definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. Avoid at all costs. More than disappointed. Never again!

We ordered both food and drinks based on the staff’s recommendations and were truly impressed. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. We went for dinner on a Saturday night with live music. They serve no-frills, homemade, African food. It is extremely well crafted with high-quality ingredients. The live music was excellent and entertaining. The atmosphere was joyful and people danced. Service was impeccable and personal. Prices were very reasonable, considering the experience. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will come back.

We stayed at a nearby hotel and the receptionist recommended this restaurant to us, which is off the beaten path. We were very pleased, as the lunch was great and inexpensive. My friend had portuguese bacalhau pancakes, and I tried Cashupa. It's super tasty but a lot for lunch. We came back here again the next day for dinner and were lucky to get to a concert of African music. There were great musicians, and as we found out later, one of them was the famous musician Tito Paris, and the other was Mikas Cabral. By the way, the dinner menu includes unlimited drinks.
