However, we were surprised to see that the appetizers—cheese, olives, bread, and butter—brought without request were added to the bill (more then 7€). We’re not sure if this is standard policy or if it happened because we spoke English and seemed like tourists. At a similar place nearby, we weren’t charged for such items. This restaurant could have become a lovely spot for our family lunches, but after this experience, we’re not so sure.
