Native Rebels is such a kick-ass live music venue and an absolute must if you’re looking for an authentic night out in Soweto. The energy is incredible, the music is fantastic, and the atmosphere is electric. The staff really stood out too. They were attentive, genuinely helpful and just effortlessly cool, they made the whole experience even better. I had the burger, which was absolutely delicious, but my only criticism is that the food and drink prices feel geared more towards international visitors than locals. I’d love to see more affordable options because this is the kind of place South Africans should be able to enjoy regularly. That said, it’s an iconic venue with an amazing vibe, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for great live music and an unforgettable evening.

I absolutely loved this place! It was my first time visiting, and I had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was amazing, and the crowd was relaxed and friendly. It’s the kind of place that accommodates everyone and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. Since it was a Sunday, they play  jazz Thandiswa Mazwai typa music, which created a beautiful and relaxing vibe. The service was excellent, and the staff were warm and welcoming. I originally wanted to order a specific dish, but it was unfortunately sold out, so I opted for a pizza instead. I’m not usually a pizza fan, but it was surprisingly delicious. The venue offers both indoor and outdoor seating, including a patio area and a designated smoking section, making it a great spot whether you prefer to sit inside or relax outdoors. Sadly, I didn’t take any pictures, but I would definitely visit again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great atmosphere, good food, and excellent service. It accommodate

Nothing to complain about. Wonderful place with a great atmosphere and good music I must say. The food is just delicious and there is a variety of drinks from your soft drinks to your wines & whiskeys. The prices are reasonable for such establishment.The music is not too loud if you’re a conversationist. Great place all in all. And as usual if you have great company it’s even better.

I used to be a avid supporter for this joint until... Recently I ordered a ceaser salad. My order took forever to show up and the dash of parmesan cheese they sprinkled lol. Love this restaurant. It's a bit expensive when it comes to drinks but the food is reasonably priced and so delicious. The decor is beautiful and unique. Love the bookshelves, so different. Also loved the pictures by a certain Tshepiso Seleke, beautiful pieces of Artwork. I am definitely going back. I ordered a gourmet burger and it was just amazing. Loved it
