They saw us coming. We thought we would just stop for a drink as they told us they weren’t doing food. Had our drink then someone comes out from the kitchen offering a Russian salad and some croquets so we went with it. It was quite nice but then we got the bill. No menu had been given to us. €17 for croquettes and €18 for a tuna Russian salad- we had been completely taken advantage of sadly. Explains why they were so keen to provide some food. Check the prices before you order anything!

The owner is lovely but we found the food very salty. The rice was also undercooked. We weren't shown a menu either so we had no idea how much stuff was. When the bill came it was a bit of a shock. Very expensive! Sadly I won't be returning.

If I had to describe eating at Casa Matilde in one word, it would be bliss. Everything we ate was incredible. We let Víctor guide us, and it was spectacular: amazing tripe, pickled mussels, perfect octopus, chickpeas with cod, and what a grilled steak! And the best part is that the food is a 10/10, but the service is even better. The worst part is that I live so far away and can't eat there every week. I hope to return soon.
