A wonderful hidden gem in A Coruña. The lady here made coffee for a bunch of people just herself in just a few minutes. She is an amazing server and deserves another person to help here. She serves with a smile speaking English and Spanish, doing her best and everybody was happy. I just stayed for a while to just see her managing the whole coffee shop either a great achievement. The coffee was very very good.

A Hidden Gem in La Coruña – Sucre Coffee & Bakery We first discovered Sucre Coffee & Bakery during a port stop in La Coruña back in September 2023 – and we loved it so much, we made a point of returning during our next visit in April 2025. It did not disappoint! The lady who runs the shop is absolutely lovely – she speaks great English and is incredibly welcoming, making you feel right at home. The coffee? We got 4 different dessert pastries and we expected to pay at least €25 because they all looked so beautiful and fancy. The desserts were so amazing I wish we had a place like this in the Bay!! We dropped into this particular branch of Sucre whilst on holiday. After a good walk around the town and this was just what was needed. Not only were the hot drinks and cakes lovely but it was all very reasonably priced. There isn’t too much space to sit and enjoy them, but the atmosphere is lovely and the staff were very patient with an Englishman trying his best to speak Spanish.
