Que rico!!! What an amazing find. So glad i came here <3 will take with me the best memories of avila!! Not only is a remarkable town worth coming back to this restaurant was one of the handful reccomendations from my tourist guide and SO glad i came. I think one can get a good chuleton about anywhere in Avila but the service here is SUPERB. I didnt find it in any guides which is annoying....but now i know it and want to reccomend it further. Must place in Avila for the hospitality and good food and service! Five stars*****

My wife and I had an exceptional lunch at La Lumbre. We met the owner, who recommended the best dishes on the menu. He is passionate about the food he serves and is very focused on the quality of the products and ingredients. We had a very fresh salad to start, followed by a delicious veal steak, fried potatoes and a bottle of excellent local red wine. The steak was perfectly grilled medium-rare. I will definitely return to La Lumbre on my next visit to Avila.

Another amazing experience! The quality of the food is what we look for in a place to eat and return over and over again. We have found our go to restaurant in beautiful Ávila. Everything we had was excellent quality and prepared to mouth watering flavor. The meats are amazing, the Sopa Castellana among my favorite. The tomatoes like no other. The service five star. The atmosphere warm and inviting. We will always recommend La Lumbre "The Flame".
