I’ve been genuinely impressed by the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. Even on a busy Sunday, and with a more relaxed service this Monday (a bank holiday here in Barcelona), everything was handled smoothly. I only noticed a few frozen ice crystals in one of the ice creams, which I mentioned to the staff. Otherwise, the day’s special, Alfonsino, was excellent, and the tarte Tatin with vanilla ice cream was delicious, no ice crystals
