Cachopo expectacular.

We went for two set menus and some tapas to see my brother and celebrate his birthday. The set menus had very meager portions: a tiny plate of lentils and a minuscule pork chop that was only good for three pieces. The tapas consisted of pig's ear, potatoes with chorizo, and a slice of Spanish omelet. The rice pudding was awful—flavorless and dry. We ordered two beers and a cider, which costs €2.25, but they charged us €8 without batting an eye. Very disappointed; it's not what it used to be, and I don't think we'll ever go back or recommend it. It's not an Asturian restaurant, and it can't be

We all went for dinner with the locals, and we really liked the place. It already had a reputation for being a good restaurant, and it seems to be maintaining its reputation with the new owners. Very tasty and generous portions to share: salads, calamari, potatoes with cabrales, picadillo, and for dessert, a cachopo that we loved—tender and flavorful. The chilled cider, as it should be, went down a treat ;-) The waiters were great, very attentive.

A welcoming place, with friendly service, and we were truly excellent. Two of us went for lunch and ordered cider (very good) and a cachopo (breaded and fried veal cutlet) with ham and Cabrales cheese. It was clearly homemade and delicious. We asked the waiter if that was enough, and he said yes, but that if we were still hungry, we could order something else, which was much appreciated and showed he was a professional. On top of everything, we left satisfied and eager to return. Many thanks to the entire Casa Marisa team; you do a fantastic job! Best regards.
