Ficcus is a modern Spanish restaurant with creative dishes, a huge wine list and a pleasant ambiance. The abánico ibérico, served with a pepper chutney, is to die for. As a starter, we had the salad with avocado, bacon and gambas. The idea is great, and it tasted well, but there was way too much lettuce for my taste. A smaller and more focused version would have been better. There are lots of appealing dessert options on the menu. The oreo cake, which had a massive creamy tower, was very good. We paid €50 for two people. Very recommended.

Disappointing. We had a reservation, and even though the restaurant wasn't full, it took over an hour for our starter (salad) to arrive. The lettuce and lamb's lettuce leaves weren't in good condition, and the avocado was overripe—very, very bad. After that, we had to wait quite a while for the next courses. They brought us abanico (a cut of beef), secreto (a cut of pork shoulder), and picaña (a cut of beef), all of which were very burnt on both sides. It's a shame because the meat itself was good.
