Very nice overall: delicious, well-priced food with sharing options and good wines (take the somms recommendations!). It hits the sweet spot between fine and casual dining (more casual leaning) and is great value for money. I'd personally prefer a different choice of music (jazz, classic or something instrumental, instead of the coffee house pop covers) but the volume was apt and it wasn't much of a bother overall.

So I stumbled upon this gem on a solo trip to cordoba as part of a wider trip. I expected something entirely different before I entered. What I got was an almost Michelin starred level of quality and attention at a bistro price. A son performing front of house perfectly with impeccable English to shame my pigeon Spanish. His dad performing some real miracles in the kitchen. A genuinely invite and unusual menu and all served in a style of some of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at (and I’ve been to one with three Michelin stars). Do not miss this place on your trip. A joy.

If you are reading this, go ahead and make a reservation at Garum. It was one of the best dinning experiences we’ve ever had. This was definitely more of a fine dining experience. The food was creative and delicious. We tried various other salmorejo and did not like them. This one was one of the best bites of our entire trip. Everything was excellent including our waiter and the rest of the staff.
