Another fabulous meal at Casa Dona Jeronima last night. Consistently excellent food. Lovely location in the Flores Square. Best steak in Estepona for sure (I’ve tried all the other restaurants over the years). Try the fois toast too. Firm favourite place for us. 10/10

Very disappointing experience at Doña Jimena in Estepona. The menu showed a paella at €23, but I was charged €46 for two people. This was not clearly explained when I ordered. Presenting prices in this way is misleading and creates obvious confusion for customers. A serious restaurant should make its pricing absolutely clear at the moment of ordering, especially when there is such an obvious risk of misunderstanding. Here, that basic transparency was clearly lacking. Bad experience, broken trust. Check every detail carefully before ordering.

Went today with my family plus 2, we reserved first else it will be impossible to find a table for 6 people. We had carpaccio ravioli and Gambas pil pil for starters, then my wife and I had the catch of the day (turbot), 2 others had grilled squid and one had penne carbonara and one had goat cheese salad for mains. The gambas was excellent, really really good especially with the bread dipped in the garlic and olive oil, and the carpaccio was only acceptable. The grilled squid was good but nothing outstanding. The salad was excellent and the carbonara was also good. All in all the food was good

Nice restaurant with linen tables clothes in the flower square. They brought us bread (which was nice) that we didn't order and charged us 3euro for it. I don't like it when restaurants do this on tourists. We ordered entrecote rare and fillet med to well. Entrecote was blue, fillet med/rare. The steaks were tough but edible. The potatoes were flavourless, lumpy and dry ( chef-try adding some cream and butter). The carrot almost raw. The sauce was good. The plates were cold, so after a few minutes the meal was cold. Hot food on hot plates please. When we ordered the bill a beer had been ad
