Without doubt THE BEST TAPAS and best value in Estepona! La Sureña had been recommended to us, and while we had to wait about 30 mins for a table, we were able to have a drink while doing so. There were queues for tables all night long, and once you get to eat it’s easy to understand why. The tapas portions are generous, very tasty and served with bread.. Service is very friendly and efficient, and the value for money is second to none in Estepona. Lovely tapas, and small sandwiches, and very reasonably priced. Bottle of red wine €12, small beer €2, glass of red €2.50. Can be very busy at times so you might have to wait a short time for a table. Recommended, set in the old square.
