Nomo was excellent. I went in looking for great sushi (after four or five nights of Spanish food) in Girona and ended up having one of the best-value meals of my entire trip. I did the tasting menu, which was roughly 14 courses and included nigiri, tuna belly hand rolls, truffle fried edamame, noodles with grilled shrimp, and more. The fish was outstanding. The tuna belly hand rolls with jalapeño and onion were insane, and the truffle fried edamame was one of those dishes where you take one bite and immediately know you’re going to finish the whole thing. A little gem in Girona. The staff was very kind and the atmosphere beautiful and romantic. We dined on the terrace, overlooking a pretty and very peaceful inner garden. The food was amazing; savory, well-presented and clearly made with very fresh ingredients. What I like the most is that the menu has a great balance between original dishes and classic ones. Definitely recommend for a wonderful and memorable dining experience. Also on Mondays, the wine is on the house ;)

Such a lovely atmosphere! It is elegant, but not over the top. It also has a beautiful french garden. The food was spectacular. We loved the eel rice, and the octopus omellete! A great for a special occasion

What a lovely restaurant! Popped in last-minute, they were able to accommodate us in the garden, and were happy to move us inside on request as it was quite warm. The menu & app were great, as was their wooden board to remember your orders. The croquettes were great, and the sushi, sashimi and rolls were all first-class. The staff were lovely and very helpful, making it a fantastic luncheon. We’d recommend this to anyone who loves good Japanese food, and hopefully FC Girona will be promoted back to the top league next year. Ronald Koeman
