After enjoying some cocktails our first night in Barcelona we knew we needed something solid to eat. In comes La Bauetina. A small corner shop with Paninis. We ordered a ham and cheese one for cheap and they warmed it up to go. It was tasty and wonderful. Owner or worker was wonderful and nice.

We went on a weekday to have coffee with some friends. The terrace was full, but the inside was empty. We asked if we could put two tables together since there were seven of us, and the unfriendly response was: "Here's one for six, and put an extra chair at the head." No one came to take our order, so we decided to order at the bar. What a coincidence that it was already coming. While we were there, there was a lot of nonsensical Bulgarian noise. For a neighborhood bar, it could have been a bit more charming and friendly.
