Maxwell Andrew Buckley★★★★★This is an absolute banger of a traditional Catalan restaurant. Just the right distance out of town to keep too many tourists from swamping the place out. Though certainly on the radar of any self respect local, so expect to qué for a table (especially on weekends). We got lucky and got a big table up back without any wait but by the time we left we had to.part the season if humans like gastronomical Moses! Order everything, it's all good! We went with the snails, pork cheek, rabbit and a few cold starters. Good wine options also, servers all very knowledgeable and speak multiple languages
Darshika Dashwood★★★★★We were introduced to Catalan food here and it was an absolute banger! The black rice, sautéed veggies and even the beans with the sausage (sadly not photographed) was really very good! for dessert we had the cheese and honey and that was an interesting experience for us coz we have never had anything like it before. The cheese is not salty at all so pairs well with the honey.
Tony Zhou★★★★★I was wandering the streets after park güell and found this quaint spot down an alley for lunch! Service is very efficient — waitress saved me with recommendations while I was trying to translate the menu 😄 Make sure to come at 1pm sharp for menu del dia, which was 17 euros. Comes with bread and a free drink. I think it’s a great deal! EDIT I came twice: first time was chickpea stew, beef and potatoes, and santiago (almond cake) with rum. Second time was carrot peel salad, fried fish, and homemade chocolate cake!
Ju No★★★★★It's a great place to taste Catalan food. We were there twice around noon and didn't have to stand in line to get in. We tried the "menú del día" both times and were happy with our choices. Unlike other places, we didn't feel any hostility towards tourists from the waiters or other guests. We were the only tourists in the restaurant, so perhaps we didn't overwhelm them. We highly recommend this place.
