Ailsa Dempsey★★★Went here for lunch and the place was packed with tourists. This is clearly a touristic spot. Unlike most restaurants in Spain, they didn’t serve pan y picos (bread and breadsticks), which was a bit surprising. The food was just okay & portions were on the smaller side. Prices felt slightly high for what you get. For example, €4.70 for a tinto is close to what you’d pay at Ferretería Restaurante, a Michelin Guide listed spot, just down the road in Atocha, which makes it harder to justify here. The same with a Coke, at €4,15.
James Reichert★★★★★We are tourists and we went here for lunch after visiting the Reina Sofia. The service was good, even for a very crowded lunch service. We had the menu del dia which was a great value. The food was great. We didn’t have high expectations because of the proximity to the museum, but everything was great. One plus, it’s right next to the conservatory of music and lots of students were hanging out on the plaza taking their break. Great people watching!
Ketevan Papashvili★★★★★Delicious food, good service. If you wish to enjoy very local environment you must visit this place
KATARINA KOVACEVIC★★The old waiter was ran as a fly without a head. We had steak (lots of loan) that in the menu says it's cut into strips and paella with meat (meat is with bones, more bones than meat). Both were pretty much salty. Espresso is a litlle bit better than from wmf machine. Waiter did asked if we want something for a dessert or coffee.
