Incredible cocido. Best quality meat, the chickpeas and cabbage melted in your mouth. Delicious Bierzo wine just by the Plaza Mayor. Special mention to Jessy who made our experience exceptional. Leon is a heaven for food, and this should be one of your stops! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

A great representation of the Castrillo de Polvazares Cocido Maragato in the heart of Leon. Great views of the main square from the second and third floor. Service was super warm, welcoming and attentive. The cocido is superb, and you can repeat of chickpeas and soup if you dare. Definitely recommended!

Absolutely stellar meal for €19 Euros. I was completely overwhelmed by the flavor and the service. The food is a three meal course that can easily be shared with four people. I had to take some of it to go because it was so good. I highly recommend anyone coming to Leon to try cocido which is a dish in this city. I think it was so delicious and the service was amazing. Don’t be fooled by it being the only thing on the menu. It’s going to blow your mind!

Excellent Spanish restaurant on the main plaza in Leon. The Cometa was exceptional; I believe the photos are of the paella. We were sitting outside because I brought my little dog and two lovely local ladies. who were leaving the restaurant struck up a conversation with us and they were very pleasant. Leon seems to be a very warm and amiable place.
