Great restaurant in Madrid! Good value, big portions relative to price. We ordered 4 dishes, thinking it would be the typical smaller portions considering the prices, especially in Madrid, but definitely over ordered! Although we couldn’t finish everything it was great to try a variety. Every dish was delicious. My favorite was the pig ear - crunchy, chewy and well-seasoned. All the dishes came out quickly, hot and fresh with them being prepared right in front of us.

I love this bar, looks dated and no new decoration, it only sells you honest local delicacies. Tripes tapas, sangria or beers , what else you need. There are streams of people queuing in the evening, a good sign of the ingredients are fresh.

Led by positive opinion on YouTube and online reviews we came to try pig ears and prawns in garlic. However, our impression felt short due to quite underwhelming lack of strong flavour of the dishes. For somebody who's not used to tapas, we found the portions rather small which left me hungry. The prawns in garlic were astonishingly tiny and their quality didn't match our expectations for the price we paid. The olive oil felt excessively diluted. My partner enjoyed pig ears - they were prepared in a crispy, unique way that we've not encountered before. They were not my favourite and the sauce
